Thursday, May 4th, 2017,  Wade Hampton High School was on long lock down because of fights that have been occurring all week.

Wade Hampton students that were not in any fights were very  upset because they had lunch late. The lock down lasted from the starting of third period to fifth period.

The students in Wade Hampton high school felt like they were in jail. Students were not allowed to leave the classroom or use the bathroom unless they had an adult escort.

When it was time to go to lunch we had to wait for assistant principal to come and tell us when  it was our turn. The classes  went three or four at a time to lunch. We only had 10 mins to eat our food. A lot of kids were worried about choking on their food because they didn’t have enough time to eat.

Everyone felt like they weren’t students anymore and that they were criminals.
